Blue Whale Capital has seen its flagship fund achieve a five-crown FE fundinfo rating on the first time of asking, one of 16 funds to achieve the feat in its January rebalance.
Managed by Stephen Yiu, the fund is "definitely one to keep any eye on", according to Charles Younes, research manager at FE Investments. "Yiu, along with his deputy Daniel Allcock, have adopted a similar successful approach to Terry Smith and performed admirably, returning more than 17% over the past year in very challenging conditions."
