Software and computing firms, online retail and financial services are some of the most attractive areas of the UK equity market at the moment, according to Unicorn's Fraser Mackersie and Alex Game, who said the home market currently presents "really attractive opportunities" for those hunting further down the cap spectrum.
Mackersie and Game, who are manager and co-manager respectively of the £120m Unicorn UK Growth fund, added that greater certainty surrounding Brexit, a recovering economy and the rapid vaccine roll-out has also improved the outlook for UK equities generally.
