Rathbones hires new investment director from Brooks Macdonald

Rathbone Investment Management has appointed Scott Lothian as investment director, based in Edinburgh.

Lothian joins the firm from Brooks Macdonald, where he served as senior investment director and head of its AIM portfolio service. Prior to his 11 years with Brooks, Lothian worked as a senior investment manager for Adam & Company Investment Management for nearly four years. Brooks Macdonald promotes Ewan Millar to head of AIM Simon Dewar, regional director for Rathbones in Edinburgh, said: "We are delighted to welcome Scott to Rathbones.
