Polar Capital hires Robeco quartet to launch sustainable thematic equity unit

Polar Capital has hired four investment managers from Robeco Switzerland to launch a suite of sustainable thematic equities strategies, the first of which are set to launch later this year.

The team led by Thiemo Lang, who will join in September, have expertise in sustainable equity strategies focused on the transformation and decarbonisation of the energy sector, and on the emergence of electric vehicles.
