HSBC Asset Management has appointed Tom Banks from J.P. Morgan Asset Management to the newly created role of UK ETF business development director.
He joined the firm on 15 June and will be based in London, reporting to Bhavick Patel, head of UK ETF business development. In his new role, Banks will be responsible for ETF sales coverage across the firm's wholesale and institutional client businesses in the UK. He was previously part of the UK sales team covering mutual funds and ETFs, and has over six years of industry experience.
