Raymond James to offer US 'employee' model to wealth manager partners

Employee model has been offered by US business for 60 years

Raymond James has launched new business model for UK wealth managers, allowing them for the first time to join the company as employees, while retaining autonomy over investment decisions, client generation and advice.

The firm has run an independent branch business model for 20 years, which included the same freedoms as the new launch, but wealth managers can now also choose to benefit from the "security and support" that employment affords.
