Pacific AM hires ex-Deutsche Bank MD to lead indexing and quant investing

Ross Wright joins for newly created role

Pacific Asset Management has hired former managing director and head of trading at Deutsche Bank Ross Wright for the newly created role of head of direct indexing and quantitative investments.

Wright, who spent over 15 years at Deutsche Bank in various senior trading roles, joins the firm to advance the expansion of its direct indexing and systematic investing capabilities. During his time with the bank, Wright played a key role in the expansion of its award-winning fund derivatives business, helping create a robust, risk-controlled infrastructure. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he also established UBS's fund derivatives trading platform. The appointment follows the hires of HSBC GAM's Will Thompson and AXA IM's Dani Saurymper in August 2020 and May 2021 respectively. ...
