Quilter has appointed Chris Samuel as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 1 July 2021.
Samuel will also join the Quilter Board Risk Committee and the Board of Technology and Operations Committee. He was the CEO of Ignis Asset Management, which had approximately £65bn in assets under management, from 2009 to 2014 and oversaw the sale of the business. Bambos Hambi joins Quilter Investors as CEO and CIO Samuel holds chairmanships of Quilter Financial Planning, BlackRock Throgmorton trust and JPMorgan Japanese investment trust.
