Fidelity International reinforces global equity team with fund manager hire

Follows departure of Amit Lodha

Fidelity International has bolstered its global equity investment team with the hire of Ashish Kochar, who is set to join the firm as portfolio manager in September.

Based in London, Kochar will join Oliver Trimingham as co-portfolio manager on the Fidelity Funds - Global Focus (Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV). Fidelity hires Artemis' Rosanna Burcheri for US equity team He joins the firm from Columbia Threadneedle and brings more than 16 years' investment experience across US, Global and Absolute Return products. The appointment follows the departure of portfolio manager Amit Lodha, who stepped down in June to spend more time in India with his family.
