Whitman Asset Management has hired an investment manager and in-house dealer to bolster its private client team.
Riccardo Persona joins as an investment manager from Brewin Dolphin, while Andrew Stevens has been hired to launch an execution-only business for private clients as well as bring all trading in house. More hires are expected to be announced in the coming months, the company confirmed. The fund management and private client firm offers a traditional multi-asset portfolio management service, as well as a fund management division.
