Candriam expands thematic equity team with triple hire

Two fund managers and one analyst added to team

Candriam has expanded its thematic global equity team with the hire of two fund managers and an analyst, marking the 15th investment management hires the firm has made so far in 2021.

Marie Lannoy and Jonas Desomer both join from KBC Asset Management as equity fund managers, while Pierre Vaurice joins from Midcap Partners as a medtech analyst. The trio will report to head of the €9.5bn AUM thematic global equity business, Rudi Van den Eynde.
