ESG and bond funds win top FE fundinfo rating

BNY Mellon, Jupiter and Montanaro among those ranked highest

Sustainable and bond funds are among the best performers in FE fundinfo’s updated Crown Ratings as a combination of market conditions and investor appetite for ESG continue to favour these strategies.

In the latest rebalance of the ratings, which are based on a fund's historical performance relative to an appropriate benchmark and help investors to distinguish top performing funds, 15 funds reached the highest possible 5-Crown rating for the first time asking. These included BNY Mellon's Sustainable Global Equity and Sustainable Real Return funds, Jupiter's Global Sustainable Equities and Montanaro's Better World funds.
