Ninety One has appointed Nazmeera Moola to the newly-created role of chief sustainability officer, with responsibility for overseeing its firm-wide sustainability initiatives.
The asset manager said that this includes investment integration, advocacy, corporate transition to net zero and developing and implementing efforts to mobilise dedicated funding for an inclusive net zero transition. Moola was previously deputy managing director and head of South African investments at Ninety One, having joined in 2013 from Macquarie First South, where she was head of macroeconomic strategy.
