Invesco is relaunching its £158.3m UK Companies fund as the Sustainable UK Companies fund, as it believes the investment opportunity in companies promoting sustainable themes is “underestimated”.
The high-conviction fund will continue to be run by Tim Marshall and its risk profile and objective will not change. The manager, supported by the Global ESG team, will use a scoring system, along with proprietary research to identify "to identify opportunities in misunderstood and mispriced companies". The universe will include sustainability leaders, enabler and improvers meaning they will look at companies seeking to improve on sustainability.
