Renewables Infrastructure Group appoints new chair

The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG) trust has appointed Richard Morse as chair.

Morse will succeed Helen Mahy to the role following her retirement today (31 October). Mahy served as chair of the board of non-executive directors of TRIG since the company's IPO in 2013. Her successor joined the board in July this year. He also served as the chair of JLEN Environmental Assets Group since its IPO in 2014, before retiring from the JLEN board just prior to joining TRIG. Morse thanked Mahy for her tenure and service, highlighting her efforts to "championing of sustainability and the net zero transition".
