Guinness Ventures launches £10m VCT fundraise

First allotment in October

Guinness Ventures has unveiled a £10m fundraise for its venture capital trust, Guinness VCT.

The VCT, which invests in UK growth companies and may also co-invest with the Guinness EIS service, launched on the London Stock Exchange in March this year.  Guinness Ventures, the growth company investment arm of Guinness Global Investors, said the VCT's focus was on "companies that already have a proven product, service or technology, but are looking for funds to help them gain further traction in their respective markets".
