Hipgnosis Songs chair Andrew Sutch to step down as managers given ultimatum

Hipgnosis Songs (SONG) chair Andrew Sutch is set to step down as chair and member of the board, as the investment management team is given a condition to meet or have the investment advisory agreement terminated.

In a stock exchange notice on Thursday (28 September), SONG said Sutch, who has served as chair since the trust's launch in June 2018, will step down once a suitable replacement is found, or by its 2024 annual general meeting.  Hipgnosis said it would begin the recruitment process for a new chair immediately.
