City of London Investment Management chief investment officer Mark Dwyer and head of the firm’s Emerging Market Closed-End Fund (EM CEF) strategy is set to retire in June 2024.

In a stock exchange notice, CEO Tom Griffith said senior portfolio manager Oliver Marschner will assume responsibility for the EM CEF strategy from 1 January 2024.  "Mark has been with the firm for over 20 years having served as the head of EM CEF strategy," Griffith said.
