RBC Brewin Dolphin names fund research boss as head of equity funds steps down

RBC Brewin Dolphin has appointed Shakhista Mukhamedova as head of fund research, as head of equity funds Michael Paul is moves to a client-facing role.

Mukhamedova is the current head of fixed income and alternatives, which she has held since May last year. She joined the firm as an analyst back in 2010.  In her new role, she will be working closely with Carlos Gonzalez Lucar, head of global manager research for the British Isles.
