Sarasin & Partners adds co-manager to Monson-led Target Return fund

Sarasin & Partners has hired Alastair Baker to co-manage the firm's Target Return strategy, alongside senior partner and chief market strategist Guy Monson.

Baker joined the firm in February this year and brings 14 years' investment experience to the role. He previously worked at abrdn, where he was responsible for reviewing the firm's multi-asset investment capability. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Schroders working with a range of global pension funds, insurance companies and institutions. Gresham House makes dual senior appointment to strengthen housing offering Sarasin also added Cédric Phounpadith to its team, joining the firm as head of investment risk. He brings 13 years' risk management experience across all asset classes...
