Wide geographical variation defined the year for fund performance, with Asian funds losing out while other emerging markets and tech funds surged, LSEG Lipper’s 2023 European Fund Performance Review has revealed.
Of the firm's 124 equity categories, 19 returned a net negative performance in 2023, with the bottom ten dominated by Asia exposures.
