The Mid Wynd International portfolio has been "extensively" rebalanced following Lazard Asset Management's takeover, with 35 new holdings added and just six retained.
Mid Wynd completed the transfer of management from Artemis to Lazard Asset Management in October, with the change prompted by the departures of Alex Illingworth and Rosanna Burchieri, as well as the retirement of former manager Simon Edelsten from Artemis. Since the firm's appointment, new portfolio managers Louis Florentin-Lee and Barnaby Wilson have sought to realign the trust's assets with the Lazard Global Quality Growth strategy, which focuses on companies that "generate sustainably high returns on capital and can reinvest at similarly high returns to drive future growth".
