Equity fund flows hit three-year high at £2.6bn in February

UK investors piled into equity funds at the fastest rate in almost three years, adding more than £2.6bn to their holdings in February.

According to monthly Calastone's Fund Flow index (FFI), February 2024 was the best month for equity fund inflows since May 2021, and the fourth best month on record. February also marked the fourth consecutive month of positive flows into equities, totalling £6.3bn since November 2023. This has already replenished almost 75% of the £8.6bn withdrawn over the previous 18 months.
