Quilter hires ex-FCA Consumer Duty specialist as ESG reporting and governance manager

Quilter has appointed former Financial Conduct Authority Consumer Duty expert Alexander Kirby as reporting and governance manager.

Kirby will focus on corporate sustainability reporting and disclosure, supporting joint heads of responsible investment Marisol Hernandez and Gemma Woodward. The incoming governance manager was a lead associate in the FCA's wholesale authorisations department, where he acted as an expert on the delivery of Consumer Duty, assessing the effectiveness of firms' compliance frameworks and governance arrangements.
