Liontrust has closed the UK-domiciled version of its Tortoise fund due to its shrunken size.
From an April 2018 peak of £71m in total net assets, the fund size dwindled over the years, with a final recorded figure of £5.3m, according to data from Refinitiv Lipper. A spokesperson from the company confirmed the fund had been closed due to its small size, adding the cashflow solutions team continues to manage the Irish-domiciled GF Tortoise fund, despite its smaller £3.8m AUM.
