River and Mercantile UK Micro Cap (RMMC) investment trust’s chair and non-executive director Andrew Chapman has retired, according to a stock exchange notice published today (12 March).
Chapman joined the board at the point of its inception in October 2014 and the directors expressed gratitude for his "valuable contribution" during his tenure. Barclays poaches Brown Shipley private banking head Non-executive director John Blowers has taken over as chair. He joined the board in August 2022. Blowers said: "Andrew has been a constant positive presence since the launch of RMMC, and his experience and wise counsel will be missed. The board wish him well and thank him for his service."
