Man Group hits record $175.7bn AUM despite $1.6bn outflows

Man Group has hit record assets under management of $175.7bn in the first quarter of 2024, despite suffering $1.6bn in net outflows.

In a trading update published today (19 April), the asset manager posted net outflows across most product categories, with the only exception being discretionary long-only, which gathered $2bn inflows over the period. The category with the largest outflows was multi-manager solutions, which shed $1.6bn over the three months. Beside multi-manager solutions, all categories managed to increase their respective AUM despite net outflows over the quarter.
