Tabula IM launches first ESG-focused physical gold ETC

Tabula Investment Management has launched the first ESG-focused physical gold ETC, investing only in bars with a fully traceable origin.

Debuting on the London Stock Exchange today (22 April), the SMO Physical Gold ETC (BARS) offers full traceability of gold bars "from mine to vault", using just a small number of named mines adhering to set ESG standards. The ETC will only invest in bars meeting a set of strict ESG criteria, such as every ounce of gold being traced to a "carefully selected" mine accredited with the "highest responsibility standards".
