Alliance Witan swaps Black Creek for EdgePoint as portfolio realignment completes

Alliance Witan’s (ALW) investment manager Willis Towers Watson has swapped Black Creek Investment Management for EdgePoint Wealth Management, as the transition of the combined multi-manager portfolio completes.

WTW chief investment officer Craig Baker said the decision to replace Black Creek, which had been part of Alliance's manager line-up since 2017, followed a succession planning evaluation at the Toronto-based global equity boutique.  "While Bill Kanko has no specific retirement date in mind and there are other experienced investors at the firm, we have taken the opportunity to switch to a manager in which we have high conviction, and which brings a fresh perspective to the new, combined portfolio," he said.
