XPS survey finds most fund managers use 'some form of AI' to bolster business efficiency

Half use AI to boost business processes

Over 80% of fund managers have said they make use of “some form” of artificial intelligence to improve efficiency within their business processes.

According to the XPS Group's The impact of AI on asset management December survey, which gathered responses from 76 investment managers responsible for a total of £34trn assets under management, half of the respondents (50%) apply generative AI to boost business processes. Meanwhile, 22% of 'traditional AI' users noted they are in the process of developing a way to implement generative AI to improve internal efficiency, while 7% said they make no use of AI currently, but are developing traditional AI tools for that purpose.
