As a female entrepreneur, I have never felt the financial industry is relevant to me. I started my own business because I wanted to avoid the glass ceiling, but I was confronted with a financial sector that wasn’t listening or talking to women equally.
And when I see an industry that is not championing women, my instinct is to find a way to change it. This is especially important today this week, as on Monday the US marked Women's Equality Day against a backdrop of a changing power dynamic.
