There are more than 100 'international days' recognised by the United Nations. Some of them you might have heard of (International Women's Day, for instance). Others you might not have heard of (International Mother Language Day).
Some of the days are light-hearted and fun (World Tuna Day), and other days less so (World Intellectual Property Day). There is one international day, however, that is slightly more difficult to pin down. On the one hand, this day celebrates human flourishing and the collective potential of our species.
