The devil is in the detail, as they say, and, as with any 19-page legal document, there’s plenty to be uncovered on close inspection.

On Thursday (7 September), Link Fund Solutions published its practice statement letter, offering investors in the former Woodford Equity Income fund their first glimpse of a timeline of events, if they choose to back the settlement deal. Much of what is to be said on the pros and cons of the deal has been covered since it was first teased back in April, and we have already explored much of the headline information over the past 24 hours or so.
