A big step forward has been taken over the last year in pushing for greater diversity in the investment industry.
But the consensus is there is still a long way to go, especially when it comes to narrowing the gender pay gap and increasing the number of women in senior positions. However, there is industry-wide momentum behind making change happen, including HM Treasury calling for 162 firms across financial services to sign the Women in Finance charter and commit to having at least 30% women in senior roles by 2021.
