Industry figures believe contrarian opportunities abound within European markets
Europe has had to deal with its fair share of bad press this year. Thanks to the Greek sovereign debt crisis, contagion throughout the southern states and rumour of its currency collapsing, the region has barely been out of the headlines. As a result, investors have spent much of 2010 avoiding the region, leaving it very much the contrarian choice.
