River & Mercantile has followed its earlier hires this year by bringing in former Merrill Lynch analyst Ben Childs.
He will work for head of quantitative analysis Charles Bennett in developing analytical technology for the investment management teams. In March R&M announced the acquisition of Newton Investment Management's Alex Stanic and Alex O'Reilly as head of global equities and a partner at the firm. R&M chief executive James Barham says: "Ben is an excellent developer with market leading technical skills."
