Surtees exit sees Anderson take on Gartmore gilt range

New Gartmore addition John Anderson has taken on the group's institutional gilt range, following Simon Surtees' exit from the company.

The former Rensburg Corporate Bond fund manager Anderson started as head of fixed income at Gartmore last week, taking over Surtees' Corporate Bond fund as well as bringing his old Rensburg Corporate Bond fund with him. Surtees was expected to remain at Gartmore to run four institutional gilt products, but left on 17 July. Former Standard Chartered head of high yield Kam Tugnait is now running Surtees' High Yield Corporate Bond fund. Gartmore has also renamed its original Corporate Bond vehicle the Fixed Interest fund.
