FundQuest CIO Gilbertson steps down

FundQuest CIO Giles Gilbertson is has left the company after less than a year in the role.

Manager of the CF FundQuest Global Select fund, Gilbertson will be replaced by Paul Kim and Richard Timberlake. Gilbertson, the former IMS CIO, stepped down on 24 July after assuming the role when FundQuest's owner BNP Paribas merged the two companies last September. Christophe Belhomme, who held the title jointly with Gilbertson, will assume full responsibility for the CIO role. FundQuest UK CEO Anthony John says the company wanted a single global CIO and had "fully consulted" both Gilbertson and Belhomme throughout the process.
