Swip has launched three emerging markets funds, focussing on infrastructure, smaller companies and Latin America respectively.
The vehicles are all sub funds of the group's Emerging Market Equities Sicav, comprising best ideas stocks from the product in their relevant sectors. The Emerging Markets Infrastructure fund will be managed by Divya Mathur, Emerging Markets Smaller Companies by Alastair Reynolds and Latin American by Jeff Casson Swip head of global emerging markets Kim Catechis says: "Although the emerging market equity universe will continue to see some volatility in the near term, we believe strong trends offer attractive opportunities for long term investors in these markets."
