First State rebrands Tulloch's fund range

First State Investments has created a brand to differentiate its emerging markets arm, run by Angus Tulloch and Stuart Paul.

The Asia pacific and global emerging markets team will now sit under the First State Stewart brand, a nod to its acquisition of Stewart Ivory more than a decade ago. First State Investments will still own the division and the 28 team members will remain employess. The group said the move reflects the individual investment style used by Tulloch and Paul, while it will also help consumer avoid confusing the Tulloch's team with the emerging markets debt arm, run by former F&C manager Helene Williamson.
