Schroders launches global multi-asset income fund

Schroders has launched a Luxembourg-domiciled Global Multi-Asset Income fund for recent hire and multi-asset head Nicolaas Marais.

The product will sit in the group's ISFi range and be lead managed by Aymeric Forest, senior multi-asset fund manager.  It aims to pay a 5% per annum distribution in equal quarterly or monthly instalments, and make total returns of 7% per annum over a full market cycle. Marais said: "In a low-yielding environment investors are increasingly struggling to narrow their retirement gap without taking on significant risk.
