JPM's investment trust head to depart

David Barron, head of investment trusts at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, is to leave the firm.

Barron (pictured) is an industry veteran with more than 18 years' experience. At JPMAM he was responsible for its range of 21 investment trusts which have £6.6bn under management. Joining JPMAM in 1995, he has held the position of director of product development, and head of distribution for closed-ended funds.
