Polar Capital's chief executive Tim Woolley has sold 500,000 shares in the company for almost £2.4m.
The transaction, made last Wednesday, saw Woolley net £2.375m from the sale, according to regulatory filings. Chief financial officer John Mansell also sold 500,000 shares on 5 March, while Brian Ashford-Russell, a non-executive director at the firm, sold 400,000 shares. Following the transaction, Woolley (pictured) still holds 6m ordinary shares left in the company, as well as options over a further 2.1m exercisable at various dates over the next three years.
