The London office of Germany's Deutsche Bank is being investigated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) following concerns over the way it is run, according to reports.
Deutsche Bank has been placed under "enhanced supervision" by the FCA as a result of concerns over the bank's governance and regulatory controls, according to the Times. The order, made five months ago but revealed by the paper today, has seen the FCA make regular visits to the bank's London offices in order to monitor its progress in overhauling its business. Reporting and monitoring systems are at the centre of the regulator's concerns, the paper added.
