Jupiter's Curling steps back from UK small-cap fund

Jupiter has promoted James Zimmerman to lead manager of its £60m UK Smaller Companies portfolio as Richard Curling steps back.

Zimmerman has worked as assistant manager to Curling since returning to Jupiter in October 2014. He previously worked at the fund house between 2011 and 2013 as equities analyst, before moving to New York to work for Rockefeller & Co. He took over the small-cap fund from Curling, who had run the portfolio since 2006, on 1 June. Curling will remain in his role as manager of the Jupiter Fund of Investment Trusts, and as co-manager on the Jupiter Primadona Growth trust and Jupiter Monthly Income funds.
