Kames Capital has raided Standard Life Investments' bond team for the second time with the hire of Jack Holmes as investment manager.
The move comes after Kames announced it had hired David Ennett from SLI in June as head of high yield. Holmes will work on the £1.2bn High Yield Bond fund with Ennett and Phil Milburn, who returns after a period of illness. At SLI, Holmes was an analyst on the European high yield team covering a variety of sectors including general industrials, waste and recycling and oil & gas services.
