Stephens to take on technical investment role

Rowan Dartington Signature, the firm's discretionary management arm for IFAs, has appointed Brewin Dolphin's John Cowmeadow as managing director.

He has replaced Guy Stephens, who will take on a broader technical investment role, supporting the private client, intermediary and SJP partner business, alongside expanding Rowan Dartington International. Rowan Dartington AUM jump to 25% year-to-date to break £1.5bn threshold  Cowmeadow will be responsible for developing a national distribution network for the business. He previously spent 14 years at Brewin Dolphin in a number of roles, including most recently as head of intermediary sales, where he ran its intermediary distribution arm.
