Mark Harries, former head of manager selection at Aberdeen Asset Management, has joined investment management firm Ravenscroft as head of investment management in the UK.
Harries (pictured) left Aberdeen last year, having taken on the role of head of manager selection, along with Simon Wood, in July 2014, after Aberdeen acquired his previous employer, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP). Prior to Aberdeen AM, Harries held a number of senior roles, including multi-manager head at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, director and multi-manager head at Cazenove Capital and head of asset management at Prudential-Bache International Bank.
