Rowan Dartington appoints regional director for the north

Rowan Dartington has appointed Barclays' Bryan Parkinson as regional director for the north of the UK, as it continues its recruitment drive.

Based in Leeds, Parkinson (pictured) will be manage the investment directors while implementing the firm's objectives in the north. The move follows the appointments of investment managers to the firm's offices in Birmingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester. At Barclays, Parkinson was head of private clients and director of UK and international intermediary sales. Prior to Barclays, Parkinson held a number of roles at Standard Life including CEO of the Life Client Management Arm, national sales manager and branch manager.
