PIMCO has announced the launch of its first ESG fund for European investors in the form of the GIS Global Bond ESG fund.
The fund will be managed by Andrew Balls (pictured), managing director and CIO of global fixed income, and Alex Struc, portfolio manager co-heading the ESG initiative at PIMCO. What will be the Trump effect on sustainable investing? The fund will invest in a range of sovereign and investment grade corporate bonds, selecting companies which have strong ESG practices.
